2. Declutter. This is the cheapest way to add value to your home and to appeal to buyers. Remove anything unnecessary that you don’t use, and pack up anything you won’t use until after your move.
3. Clean up your outdoor space. A flourishing backyard can add 10 percent to the value of your home. Make sure your lawn is mowed, shrubs are trimmed, weeds are pulled and pathways are swept.
