It's time for the third Best of
Patch Readers' Choice poll and, with St. Patrick's Day coming up this weekend,
we're getting thirsty.
Thirsty for the best places
around Lexington to go for a pint of the black, a plate of corned beef and
maybe even a few spins of "The Unicorn Song," "Wild Rover"
and those songs we love to hate and hate to love.
Here in
Lexington, we have Waxy O'Connor's,
an Irish-style chain restaurant where you can get your Guinness in a pint glass
or in a bowl of beef stew. You can also order up a plate of corned beef and
cabbage with boiled red potatoes and get your bangers battered or served with
mash and gravy.
Nourish Restaurant and
the bar at Aloft Lexington
are also options around town.
But a short ride up -- or down --
Rt. 128/95 provides a few more options. Here are a few in Lexington, Burlington
and Waltham.

we'll include it in the conversation.
Voting's open until 9 a.m. this
Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive
comments posted below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.
Because this
poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner.
The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and
reviews on Patch Places.
Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.
