Home Inspection Questions for Lexington MA Homebuyers

Lexington MA Homebuyer Tips
As a Lexington MA homebuyer, it’s important that you get a home inspection done before signing the closing papers. This will allow you to renegotiate the price or terms if anything major comes up. As your Lexington real estate agent, here are questions I suggest asking your home inspector:

1.  What is major and what’s minor? It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when you receive the report, so ask the inspector which issues they find the most serious.
2.  Should I call in an expert? If an issue is pretty serious, your inspector might recommend that you call an expert to look into it further.
3.  Can you explain? Don’t be afraid to ask for clarification on an issue you don’t understand!
4.  Did you see this? If you think the inspector missed something, speak up.

Don’t be shy with your home inspector! Ask all the questions you need to better understand the findings. When ready to buy in the Lexington real estate market, contact me, your Lexington real estate agent! I’m here to help!
