Lexington Tea Burning

Sunday, December 8, 11 AM - 4 PM, at Buckman Tavern

Lexington Historical Society and the Lexington Minute Men invite all to the Lexington Tea Burning, an all-day event free and open to the public.

This year's annual reenactment will begin at 11 AM with musket drills, interpretive programming, and music by the William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps, and culminate with the burning of the tea at 1:30 PM.

Historic Buckman Tavern - decorated for the holidays - will be open for complimentary tours that day. Take a tour and learn more about tasty alternatives to tea that were available to patriots during the war in an interactive drop-in program from 11 AM -12 PM and 2-3 PM. Plus, take advantage of the free admission to view the #Alarmed! exhibit on its final day before closing.
